A native Māori New Zealander Jason is a well-respected professional chef who has spent the best part of 25+ years cementing his reputation and profile across a broad portfolio of food & beverage, hospitality and tourism businesses globally. 

Jason has lived and worked in KSA, Dubai, Maldives, Singapore, Bali and his native home New Zealand and he has traveled extensively as a guest celebrity chef to promote his uniquely Antipodean style of lip-smacking delicious cuisine at exotic destinations like-Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali and California.

Career highlights include-publishing a cookbook Savvy Fresh Inspired New Zealand Cuisine; recipient of the PATA Young Tourism Professional award for services to New Zealand Tourism; being crowned New Zealand Chef of the Year and winning gold and silver medals as a member of the New Zealand culinary team whilst competing at FHA Singapore.

Adept in the kitchen plating delicate fine dishes just as he is conducting an Iftar buffet for 500+ persons, Jason holds a great depth of industry knowledge and experience garnered from years of experience cooking for discerning persons of influence in luxury hotels, resorts and restaurants as well as running his very own catering company. A staunch proponent and advocate for sharing of knowledge Jason has a special empathy for developing young talent in the kitchen and has enjoyed measurable success mentoring future culinary leaders and food service professionals throughout his illustrious career. 

Currently based in the Middle East since early 2015, Jason is excited by the opportunities presently unfolding at Six Flags Qiddiya and Qiddiya Waterpark for young people enthusiastic to pursue a career in hospitality. A passionate foodie who still exudes the drive and passion to want to cook in the kitchen, Jason enjoys travelling and eating out socially to experience and savor delicious foods of all genres.
