ALEX is the Head of Amusement Rides/Waterparks at TÜV SÜD Middle East. Prior to TÜV SÜD, Alex was an International Construction Manager at Whitewater Industries in Vancouver/Canada. Previously, he was a Vice President at East-West Consulting Inc in Kelowna/Canada, Area Manager at Entire-PL Commerce Solutions in Stuttgart/Germany and General Manager at LTTS Construction GmbH in Berlin-Germany and Meeuwen/Belgium.

Alex is an active member of the ASTM F24 committee, the World Waterpark Association, the MENALAC Supplier and Safety committees and has spoken at several industry events, including MENALAC Safety Days, Waterpark Conferences and GCC Government Workshops.

With more than 25 years of leadership and industry experience, Alex has worked on several valuable Amusement park projects worldwide.

Alex grew up and graduated with an engineering degree in Germany, following a career around the globe in Germany, Belgium, Canada and for 5 years in Dubai. As a result of this background, he developed strong intercultural competencies and Open-mindedness to different business and work styles.
